Strong, powerful and durable in the extreme. When the going gets tough, no room for half-measures.
When the need is for a tool that will cut through tough and consistent materials like macadam, concrete or metal, the user can realistically go for nothing less than a professional machine capable of performing the task effectively and accurately, and with nothing sacrificed in terms of operator safety and comfort. Powercutters respond perfectly to these needs: all models are equipped with powerful engines and with ergonomic and technological features designed to guarantee comfortable, risk-free operation.
Guide to powercutter selection
These machines are used for road maintenance and building applications, particularly in situations where cuts need to be made in appreciably hard materials and surfaces. Selection of the most suitable model and the relative drive unit is tied to the hardness of the material being penetrated (asphalt, concrete, iron and steel, ceramic tile or brick), to the depth of cut (100 mm, 120 mm, 125 mm and 150 mm), and to the volume of work.
Lightest models of the range are suitable for small scale contracting, whilst more powerful models are used typically for heavier tasks or where cutting depths are greater (up to 150 mm).
Powercutters can be used with a trolley, which gives added stability and helps to ensure a more accurate result (for example, when the cut needs to follow a straight line). |
